A couple of footnotes:

The Domain Name market is sometimes referred to as the Gold Rush of the 90's. This is especially true of Dot Com names that are short, easy to remember, and easy to spell.

If you've searched for a Domain Name you know that most of the popular names like Auto, Shoe, Bank, Stock, etc are taken. We're now getting into long Domain Names which means more typing more spelling errors.

Some companies are spending millions to advertise Domain Names that do not relate to their business, if you have a big advertising budget you can make any name synonymous with your business, McDonald did. Most of our Domain names are related to a product or service.

The following has nothing to do with business names but it's a good suggestion.
